Description
Do you have good skills in preparing and cooking food for large groups? Are you interested in a new program using locally sourced food for the Senior Nutrition Program? This 35 hour/week position works Monday through Friday at the Lincoln Center.

    This is a brief description of the job duties:

    This position provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed or instructed in accordance with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) nutrition policies and procedures. The Lead Cook should have keen interest in cooking, food and nutrition. This position supervises the work of employee(s) assisting in food preparation and cleanliness of Senior Nutrition Program.

    These are the skills we are seeking:

    High School diploma or equivalent required.

    One or more years of experience with assisting in the preparation and serving of food in an institutional setting preferred.

    Knowledge of institutional diets desirable.
