The Nutrition Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and administrative functions of the program in accordance with State and Federal Older Americans Act policies and requirements. This includes direct supervision of the Elderly Nutrition Program personnel supervision (both staff and volunteers), budgeting and fiscal monitoring, purchasing, managing contracts, data collection and reporting, individual in-home assessments, interagency coordination, public relations, program development, implementation and evaluation. Position is also responsible for preparing local policies and enforcing state program policies.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Degree in nutrition/dietetics, food service management, public administration, human services related field, or nutrition/health related field preferred.

Successful experience in program administration and personnel supervision is required.

Current registration and/or certification as a Certified Dietitian (CD), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), or Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) is preferred.
Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
