Description

The Aging and Disability Resource Center is looking to hire a part-time Dining Site Manager for the Rosholt area.  This position is 20 hours per week.

The Dining Site Manager is responsible for the successful operation of an ADRC senior dining program.  Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of food service for the congregate, My Meal, My Way, site
  • Coordination of home delivered meals routes for Rosholt area
  • Outreach to new and absent participants
  • Site educational and social activities
  • Assisting individual participants to obtain community services
  • Volunteer recruitment and supervision and record-keeping 
  • Administer Bulk Food Delivery Route for Rosholt, including recruitment, training, scheduling and supervision of the volunteer drivers.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful experience initiating and managing community activities.
  • Successful experience coordinating volunteers.
  • Food service experience helpful but not required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include:
  • Good leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Demonstrated concern and regard for older people.
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Demonstrated dependability and punctuality.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and fill out simple recordkeeping forms.
  • Knowledge of programs and services for older adults available from the ADRC and other agencies.
  • Knowledge of food service management and the ability to follow instructions and to be flexible.
  • Ability to maintain regular, consistent, and reliable attendance.

Special Requirements

  • Must wear enclosed-toe, non-skid-soled shoes.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle for work-related travel.
