Client Activities such as:
- Schedule client appointments, provide appointment reminders and provide program instructions.
- Respond to questions regarding program eligibility, services, and community organizations and refer to area resources as appropriate.
- Provide intake to walk-ins and schedule appointments as needed. Make referrals as appropriate.
- Assess income, demographic, and categorical eligibility.
- Maintain benefit eligibility for WIC participants.
Anthropometric measurements and Assessments such as:
- Conduct anthropometric measurements and record.
- Conduct immunization assessments
- Perform hemoglobin tests
- Clean equipment at the end of clinic day.
- Lead screens as directed.
- Maintain electronic data system. (ROSIE) Serve as ROSIE contact.
- Issue benefits prescribed for WIC participants.
- Review system changes as completed by state.
- Review reports specific to caseload, benefit issuance status, etc. for daily operations.
- Process system updates and keep policies current.
- Access Forward Health data system for WIC and Wisconsin Well Woman Program.
- Access WIR data system for WIC lead program
- Maintain WIC social media activities
- Miscellaneous other things
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- One year clerical experience, serving families of varied cultural/socio-economic backgrounds preferred.
- Experience working with racial and ethnic populations.
- Health-related experience preferred.
