Description

The Portage County Health Care Center has opportunities for you!  We are looking to hire a Part-time LPN to work 27 hours/week.  What's even better is that we offer a robust benefit package for permanent positions working more that 20 hours!

Our shift differential is $1.50/hour for PM and Night shift.  

PM shift is defined A: 2:30 - 11 pm
Night shift is defined as 11 pm - 7:30 am

This position is part time and on call.  The schedule consists of:

27 hour per week – Week 1

Sunday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Monday 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Tuesday Day Off

Wednesday 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Thursday Day Off

Friday Day Off

Saturday Day Off

27 hour per week – Week 2

Sunday Day Off

Monday Day Off

Tuesday Day Off

Wednesday Day Off

Thursday 2:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Friday 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

This is a brief description of the job duties:

Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervises the day to day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants and nutritional aides. Supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality is maintained.

These are the skills we are seeking:

Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a licensed practical nurse.

Knowledgeable of the theory, methods, and techniques of nursing.

Ability to supervise and direct the work of others.

Experience in restorative nursing, psychiatric nursing, medical nursing or geriatric nursing preferred.
