Portage County Parks Department has an opening for a Ski Hill Aide available at the Standing Rocks Park. These positions will work during the ski season doing various duties associated with running the lunch counter, ticket sales and ski rental shop.

There are no benefits available for seasonal positions with Portage County.

This is a brief description of the job duties:

This position assists in the operation of the lunch counter, ticket sales area, and ski rental shop at Standing Rocks Park. This position is also responsible for the safe operation of the tows and for the safety of skiers using those tows.

These are the skills we are seeking:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Prior park or ski hill experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.

Must be 18 years old.
