Description
This position develops, implements, maintains, and coordinates the business office operations of the Health Care Center (Rehabilitation and Long Term Care Facility-100 bed). This includes the areas of financial reporting, budget, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, resident personal funds, and workers’ compensation. This position is a key member of the Health Care Center (HCC) management team and participates in the operational decisions of the Health Care Center by providing a financial perspective on the team. This position oversees the dietary, life enrichment, housekeeping, facilities management, medical records, and administration areas of the health care center. This position may assist families when concerns arise and need to be immediately addressed in the absence of the Director and Director of Nursing. In the absence of the Health Care Center Director, this position acts in the capacity of the Health Care Center Director.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or similar field required; Master’s Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Five years of long term care facility and/or health care experience required.
- Government accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
- Supervisory and/or management experience required.
- Any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Ability to successfully pass a financial and criminal background check.
- Must meet County bonding requirements.
