Portage County is looking for help in the Treasurer's Department during the busy tax collection time. These positions will work mid-December to the end of January and again in July. If you have customer service and money handling skills consider applying!

This is a brief description of the job duties;
 

The primary responsibility for this position is tax receipting. This position is also responsible for the tax informational delivery functions of the Treasurer’s department.

These are the skills we are seeking;
 

Six months work experience in an office setting.

Experience in customer service regarding monetary transactions preferred.

Experience with computer programs such as MS Word and Excel preferred.

Typing speed of 40 wpm preferred.
