Are you looking for seasonal work? Portage County has an opportunity for afternoon/evening work doing custodial work. We have three openings that will work from mid-November to mid-March.

Seasonal employment does not offer a benefit package.

This is a brief description of the job duties:

Under general supervision, employee is responsible for general building and grounds maintenance which includes; routine cleaning tasks involving operation of cleaning equipment, transport materials, and lawn and sidewalk care.

These are the skills we are seeking:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two years custodial experience that includes stripping, waxing, buffing and extracting with associated floor care equipment preferred.

Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Must pass Caregiver and FBI criminal background check which will be conducted by the Portage County Sheriff’s department. Must not have any felony convictions.
