We have an opportunity to work 20 hours/week at the Library assisting in the cleaning of the building or 40 hours/week at the Courthouse, Annex or Ruth Gilfrey buildings. These positions generally will work from December through the end of March.

This is a summary of the job duties;

Under general supervision, employee is responsible for general building and grounds maintenance which includes; routine cleaning tasks involving operation of cleaning equipment, transport materials, and lawn and sidewalk care.

These are the qualifications we seek;

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two years custodial experience that includes stripping, waxing, buffing and extracting with associated floor care equipment preferred.

Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Must pass Caregiver and FBI criminal background check which will be conducted by the Portage County Sheriff’s department. Must not have any felony convictions.
