The Portage County Health & Human Services department is hiring a full-time CCS Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position will have primary responsibility to develop and oversee an adequate quality assurance and compliance system for Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).

What are the primary job responsibilities?
Develops and oversees a comprehensive system of quality assurance and/or compliance review as needed for CCS services.
- Mature system will include staff training, policies/procedures, regular reviews, summaries and analysis of program and system results, quality improvement projects, and active collaboration with administration and service delivery staff.
- Reviews and analyzes data and reports to determine program and agency compliance with predetermined standards
- Communicates regularly with CCS staff and vendors regarding the current status and importance of quality assurance and compliance systems.
- Works closely with Division Manager, CCS regional partner county administrative staff, third party funding sources, and state personnel to establish quality control standards for CCS services.
- May oversee internal and vendor quarterly outcome setting, reporting, tracking, and follow-up.
- Monitor and compile CCS vendor contracts in conjunction with the Division Manager and Finance Department.
Provides supervision and direction to staff in the section Recommends hiring and termination, supervises and evaluates section personnel
- Attends section staff meetings to provide direction and consultation to section personnel.
- Organizes regular conference and staff meetings.
- Promotes staff development through guidance, in-service programs and other training events.
- Implements section reorganization to maximize program effectiveness and staff efficiencies.
- Ensures new staff are trained, and current staff are trained in new programs implemented in the section.
- Administers Human Resources policies as necessary.
What are the minimum qualifications?
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or other related human service program required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Two years’ experience or training in service related to mental health or other long term care populations. Experience within the past five years preferred.
- Wisconsin License as a mental health professional preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
