This is a brief description of the job duties:
 

This position is based at Portage House, the Community & Residential Program which provides supervision for adults who are working on integrating into the public after incarceration and insures the safety of program residents and protection of the public. Follows procedures regarding safety and resident conduct to ensure resident security and compliance. Employee is responsible for knowing the whereabouts of all program residents during overnight shift, performs assessment, completes reports and manages the facility in the overnight hours.

These are the skills we are seeking:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, or related field or comparable training and experience is preferred.
Crisis management, security experience, or experience providing supervision in a residential setting preferred.
First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety certification required. If not certified at time of hire these certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire date.
