Description
Do you have a passion for helping youth with severe emotional disorders and/or adults with mental health disorders to develop and enhance their daily living skills? Do you have experience working with people with mental health disorders? Would you like to put them to use serving residents of Portage County? We have an opportunity to consider.
This is a brief description of the job duties;
This position primarily provides service provision and the teaching of independent living skills, household organization skills, money management, employment related skills, and assistance with medication reminders. These services occur primarily in consumer homes and allow them greater independence and assistance in the community. position works with adult and youth consumers with mental health diagnoses that are enrolled in our Comprehensive Community Services program and assists them with all skills needed to maintain and teach independent living.
These are the skills we seek;

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post High School classes or degree in Human Services field preferred.

Experience or training with the serious and persistent mentally ill population required.

Experience or training with in-home caregiving preferred.
