This is a brief summary of the job duties:
 

This position performs professional, administrative work in a variety of Human Resources functions. The primary responsibilities of the position include assisting the Portage County Health Care Center (HCC) with generalist human resources functions including but not limited to: recruitment and selection, performance management, benefits administration, human resources administration and training.

These are the skills we need:

• Associate degree human resources, business administration or related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Three to five years work experience in the human resources field, within a long term care setting preferred.

• SHRM or HCRI certification a plus.

• Experience in hiring, benefit administration, discipline and coaching strongly preferred.

• Experience with computers and office procedures required.
